This valve consists of two water chambers inside. The cutoff port of the diaphragm's water chamber is the water passage (the maximum opening area of the cutoff port is close to the pipe diameter area), and the upper water chamber of the diaphragm is the pressure regulating chamber. When the water pump stops working, the self weight of the valve disc and the pressure of the upper water chamber quickly close 90% of the cutoff port, and the remaining 10% is transmitted to the upper water chamber through a conduit. As the pressure of the upper water chamber increases, the cutoff port slowly closes and the remaining 10% remains. Therefore, the slow closing noise reducing check valve plays a role in slow closing noise reduction.
